IN FOCUS / THREE CONNECTED CHAPTERS

Look closer.
There’s a story here.

portraits, places, and the details in between. a few frames from my archive, and the ideas they open up.

A weaver at work in a dim workshop

01 / the eye

the rhythm behind the frame.

a weaver, a loom, a room full of repeating lines. “looms from benarashi” holds both the precision of a process and the presence of the person carrying it forward.

this is where observation becomes useful: notice the structure, then look again for the human detail. it is a way of seeing that connects photography with the digital experiences i build.

A PRACTICE, SEEN FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES

Curious mind.
Practical intent.

FOR EDUCATORS & MENTORS

Follow the reasoning.

The lab and field notes make room for questions, experiments, and reflection. Explore how a visual idea becomes a working interaction, then look at the lessons that shape the next decision.

FOR TEAMS & COLLEAGUES

See how the pieces connect.

Strategy, design, and systems share a common purpose: make the next step understandable. My approach starts with listening, makes decisions visible, and leaves room for feedback.

FOR FOUNDERS & PROSPECTS

Picture what comes next.

A clearer brand, a more useful digital experience, or fewer repetitive steps behind the scenes. Bring a real challenge and we can identify a practical place to begin.

Start with your challenge ↗

02 / A PLACE TO START

Different journeys.
Room for yours.

You don’t need a perfect brief or a technical background. Bring the question you’re working through.

03 / HOW I THINK & WORK

Start with people.
Build with care.

Clear communication, practical decisions, and room for different needs are part of the work from the beginning.

01

Listen before solving.

Understand the people, context, and constraints. Make space for questions and perspectives that change the brief.

02

Make it understandable.

Use plain language and clear choices. Explain decisions so the people using and maintaining the work can take ownership.

03

Build for real life.

Consider different devices, abilities, connection speeds, and ways of working. Keep improving through feedback.

THE PRACTICE / FROM IDEA TO EVERYDAY USE

One question.
Several ways in.

Brand, experience, and operations influence each other. A useful starting point is to understand where the friction lives.

01 / DIRECTION

Make the idea clear.

Who is it for? What should it change? Bring the audience, promise, and priorities into focus before deciding what to make.

A clearer brief · Content priorities · A practical next step

02 / EXPERIENCE

Give it a useful form.

Bring words, imagery, identity, and interaction together so people can understand the offer and find their way through it.

Brand expression · Websites · Commerce experiences

03 / SYSTEMS

Support the work behind it.

Look at the repeated tasks and disconnected information behind the experience. Map the flow before adding another tool.

Workflow maps · Automation concepts · Connected operations

Start with the question you have. The first conversation can help identify which kind of work would be useful. Share the context ↗

04 / FROM QUESTION TO CLARITY

A little structure.
A lot of possibility.

A flexible starting point for a conversation, whether you’re exploring something new or improving what already exists.

  1. Share the context

What are you trying to change? Who should it help? Start with what you know.

  2. Find the useful next step

Clarify priorities, constraints, and what a meaningful outcome would look like.

  3. Make, learn, refine

Work in manageable steps, share progress, and use feedback to shape what comes next.

05 / THE LAB

Curiosity, without a brief.

Small experiments. Useful little tools. A space to play before there's a reason to.

001 / GENERATIVE CANVAS

Order, with a little chaos.

Move your pointer to bend the field.

002 / AUTOMATION SKETCH

Connecting store → POS

✓ Catalog mapped

✓ Stock reconciled

Illustrative workflow / no live connection

Less busywork. More headspace.

Python inventory and POS sync concepts, designed around a single source of truth.

003 / TYPE STUDY

Same letters. A different feeling.

06 / THE ANTI-PORTFOLIO

Not everything
worked out.

The polished work is only half the story. These are the lessons worth keeping.

01 / 2022

The Untested Product

+

Building before validating how the product would reach its audience. A solution needs a distribution strategy as much as it needs working code.

THE LESSON Distribution strategy must precede code.

02 / SYSTEMS

Bleeding-Edge Complexity

+

More layers can create more points of failure. Technology choices should serve the problem and the people who will maintain the system.

THE LESSON Boring, reliable tech wins long-term execution.

03 / PARTNERSHIPS

Premature Client Expansion

+

Taking on too much leaves less room for attention, judgment, and craft. A sustainable practice depends on choosing the right partnerships.

THE LESSON Strict curation of partnerships preserves quality.

07 / LIFE & ARTIFACTS

A way of seeing.

Photographs from Cine Reel ’16, and the observations that connect life outside the screen to the work within it.

CINE REEL ’16 / SELECTED PHOTOGRAPHS

Street scenes, working hands, passing moments. This collection makes room for the details that are easy to walk past: a gesture, a rhythm, a relationship between people and place.

01 / Street & movement

Morning street at OldTown

A narrow lane, a bright shirt, a city waking up.

02 / Work & craft

Looms from Benarashi

Threads, repetition, and the person at the centre of the process.

03 / Quiet observations

Lost in woods

A single figure gives the trees their scale.

04 / Street & movement

Street children playing freestyle soccer

Bodies, shadows, and a ball held in the air.

05 / Quiet observations

Opu and Durga

A doorway becomes a frame within the frame.

06 / Street & movement

Untitled

A passing train turns an everyday gesture into a small story.

07 / Work & craft

Smoke from dockyard

The texture of work, seen through light and smoke.

08 / Quiet observations

Another morning at Railstation

A red wall holds a small, quiet scene.

LOOKING IS PART OF MAKING

Attention comes before the idea.

A street photograph and a digital experience ask a similar first question: what is happening here? Looking closely reveals where the energy is, what gets overlooked, and which details give a place its character.

This archive sits alongside the lab as another way to explore composition, contrast, rhythm, and human scale.

THE LIVING SHELF

A few daily companions.

Choose an artifact to look closer.

08 / JOURNAL & FIELD NOTES

Thinking out loud.

Occasional notes on systems, aesthetics, and building with intention. Drafts for a living journal.

09 / BEFORE YOU SAY HELLO

Good questions.
Honest answers.

A few things to make reaching out easier.

Do I need a finished brief?

+

No. A short description of your idea, the challenge, and who it should help is a useful place to start.

Can we work across time zones?

+

I’m based in Dhaka (UTC+6). Share your location and preferred way to communicate so we can discuss a workable rhythm.

Can I share communication or access needs?

+

Yes. Let me know if written communication, a different format, or another adjustment would make working together easier. We can discuss what works for you.

Where can I see the projects?
